ACTIVITIES
DO-GOODERS DAY: Tuesday, August 2, 1:45 PM Carpool Departure—-Bloomington VEAP 9600 Aldrich Avenue South, Bloomington, MN 55420
VEAP is a basic needs organization whose programs include access to healthy foods, social services, housing stability and supportive services. We will work at the VEAP food shelf from 2:15-5:15. Training is provided. Our commitment to VEAP is the first Tuesday, every other month: August 2, October 4, December 6, February 7. April 4. We will have dinner/Happy Hour at Lucky 13 Pub near Southtown after our service.
A carpool leaves the east side parking lot of the Southtown AMF Bowling Alley at 1:45PM. Please indicate if you plan to carpool or meet us there. If you drive: go around to the west side of the building (overlooking 35W) and park farther back if possible—keep closer rows open for Food Shelf clients. Enter through Door 2 on the west side marked “VEAP Volunteers and Staff.” Wear closed-toed shoes.
