Strip Tease by Carl Hiaasen  (The previously announced Skin Tight by Carl Hiaasen is not available in libraries so this selection replaces it.)
Like most of Hiaasen’s novels, this crime novel is set in Florida and features his characteristic black humor. It focuses on a single mother who’s turned to stripping to earn enough money to gain legal custody of her young daughter, and ends up matching wits with a lecherous U.S. Congressman and his powerful corporate backers.
Beverages at happy hour prices are available until 7:00 pm.  Feel free to bring food or snacks up form the store.  Weather permitting we’ll be out on the deck. Please come even if you haven’t read the book.
RSVP by Friday, September 15 to Sara5217@aol.com
